Recommended Recordings
As one of our Recommended Recordings, we are recommending Louis Armstrong – Hot Fives and Hot Sevens, a 4 CD set released by JSP Records containing the complete Louis Armstrong Hot Fives and Hot Sevens recordings made in Chicago and New York City between 1926 and 1930.
These are some of the most important jazz recordings ever made and the re-mastering on this set is very well done. The sound is very good for recordings made between 1926 and 1930.
